A Colorado dentist accused of fatally poisoning his spouse in a “complex and calculated murder” was arrested around the weekend, officials introduced.
Dr. James Toliver Craig, 45, a dentist in Aurora, was arrested Sunday, 4 days following he drove his spouse, 43, to a healthcare facility for the reason that she was complaining of “severe head aches and dizziness,” Aurora law enforcement reported.
Right after the woman arrived at the healthcare facility, her ailment “deteriorated speedily.” She was positioned on a ventilator in intense care, and “she was declared medically brain dead a short time later on,” authorities explained.
An investigation established she was poisoned. The police statement does not say what she was poisoned with.

Craig’s spouse had been hospitalized a few situations this month — on March 6, Tuesday and Wednesday, Aurora law enforcement Detective Bobbi Olson wrote in the document.
After the hospitalization Wednesday, a small business associate and mate of Craig’s instructed a nurse that she could have been poisoned, Olson wrote. The business enterprise partner stated that Craig had lately purchased potassium cyanide and that there was no reason for the chemical to be at a dental observe, the affidavit says.
